Top 5 Best 4k TVs in India

Best 4k TVs in India

TV technology has not really seen big changes recently, but things took a new turn in 2016. The incorporation of HDR video into televisions, adds true value addition to TVs, something that 4K or 3D never could bring. The HDR video actually brings noticeable changes to picture quality, and though its availability is limited right now, and TVs supporting HDR are expensive, we can’t wait for this tech to trickle down. Our favourites are based on TVs we reviewed so far.

Sony Z9D 65-inch 4K HDR TV

The Sony Z9D got the Zero1 Award from us this year. When money isn’t a concern, the Z9D is the best television to buy. Sony’s new Backlight Master Drive technology allows more control over the backlights, creating higher contrast, and better blacks. This, combined with a faster than before Android TV experience, makes the Z9D our pick of the year.

LG Signature OLED

The LG Signature OLED has the potential to beat out Zero1 Award winner. Unfortunately, the first review unit we got, had clear image burn issues, while the second one never made it in time for testing. That said, LG confirmed that the burning issue was a unit-specific problem, and we’ve spent ample time with the second unit to put it second on our list. It’s also the only TV in India that supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies.

Sony X9350D 4K HDR TV

Another HDR TV, the Sony X9350D is the first one that we reviewed this year. Much like other high-end televisions from Sony, this one also runs on the AndroidTV platform, and it supports HDR as well. However, the X9350D is focused on providing good audio, along with great picture quality. And the added price seems to make sense.

Sony 55X9300D 4K HDR TV

If you can’t afford the X9350D and don’t care about the inbuilt speakers, the X9300D is the next best thing. It offers everything that the Sony X9350D does, except the speakers on the side. The television looks good, feels good, and its only weakness is that AndroidTV is excruciatingly slow at times. This is actually a concern for all Sony televisions running on the AndroidTV platform right now.

Samsung 55KS9000 4K HDR TV

The Samsung KD9000 is another television that supports HDR technology. It is also a curved TV, for those of you who care. The 55-inch TV is loud, has vibrant colours, and Samsung’s Tizen OS is much faster than AndroidTV or WebOS, and with similar, but not acceptable, app support.

Here's is the summary list of Best 4k TVs in India for June 2016

DJI Spark review

DJI Spark hands on review OUR VERDICT No larger or heavier than a can of soda, the DJI Spark is the portable drone you’ve been waiting for. It's automatic flight capabilities and ability to recognise hand gestures outshine it's few problems. PRO Controller-free gesture controls Absolutely tiny Automatic Quickshot modes CON Spotty Wi-Fi connection with smartphones Short flight time Easily swayed by the wind Drones may be getting smaller and more affordable than ever, but few have yet to be a hit with the honest-to-goodness mainstream audience. The DJI Spark hopes to be the first to make its mark with a blend of compactness, automated features and an affordable price point. No larger than can of soda and likely smaller than that super-sized smartphone you have in your pocket, the DJI Spark is an amazing example of how small drones can get. While it might be tiny, this drone comes fully packed with technology, including obstac...
